• August 28 - 30, 2020

• Each event participant can choose to walk and/or run (as an individual or as a team) on any or all of the event dates mentioned above.

• A portion of the event proceeds will be going to the American Cancer Society and a check will be presented to the American Cancer Society post event.

• Each event participant has an option to give additional donations to the American Cancer Society, "At the American Cancer Society, we’re on a mission to free the world from cancer. Until we do, we’ll be funding and conducting research, sharing expert information, supporting patients, and spreading the word about prevention. All so you can live longer — and better."

• Each event participant can walk and/or run as far as they want. We want everybody and anybody to participate in the event, so the distance you walk and/or run is up to you. 

• The purpose of "Steps For A Cause'" is to unite and work towards raising money to #STEPONCANCER together. 

• Each event participant will be encouraged to interact with Team CEO and other event participants during the entire event (Aug 28 -30) on the "Steps For A Cause" Facebook Group Page as well as on all CEO Social Media Platforms.

• Examples of participant interaction ( 1. Post pictures of yourself and/or your team during walk and /or run ; 2. Post videos of yourself and/or your team during walk and/or run; 3. Post the route yourself and/or your team completed during walk and/or run).

• Each event participant will also be encouraged to digitally send Team CEO a short video (5 - 10 seconds) on who they are stepping for (honoring) during the event. All of the videos will be edited together into a larger video tribute that will be playing the week of the "Steps For A Cause" event on all CEO Social Media.

• Each event participant will also be encouraged to be creative with what they wear during the event, as long as it is family oriented.  

• There will be a "Steps For A Cause - Scavenger Hunt" that will take place during the event weekend (August 28 - 30, 2020). The first participant to complete the scavenger will win a gift card. 

• Details for the Scavenger Hunt will be emailed to each participant a week prior to the start of the event.

• The "Top 3 Individual Participants" in terms of the highest donations amount will receive a "Steps For a Cause" event award.

• The "Top Team" in terms of the highest donations amount will receive a "Steps For a Cause" event award.
